The kingdom of darkness is real, but false and perverse. There are so many people who open themselves up to the demonic because, in their woundedness, they seek forbidden knowledge or power from occult or superstitious practices.

Knowing this can motivate you to engage in true worship, to seek Christ in His scripture, and to rely on the protection of the Blessed Mother.
